According to the central Pardis district public relations report, a cultural and social gathering for older adults took place on Wednesday, 27 Ordibehesht. It continued the Older Adult Mondays programme held in Pardis parks. Bagh Omid and the central district administration organised the event with cooperation from the municipality, health department and water department. Local officials and participants from Pardis and the villages of Baghkmesh, Estalak, Keresht and Vasefjan attended the municipal cultural and arts institute.

The original report discussed population ageing and the need to plan for social participation, motivation and wellbeing in later life. It cited projections based on the 1395 Solar Hijri census: people over 65 were expected to make up around 10 percent of the population in 1410 and 13.5 percent in 1420. These figures are reported as historical statements, not updated demographic estimates.

The report identified disability, physical and psychological illness, isolation and exclusion as challenges. It described an intention to establish neighbourhood and village groups for older adults in partnership with local organisations.

Participants enjoyed games, talks and workshops about rights in later life, stress management, positive thinking and responsible water use. Memory sharing, poetry, blood glucose checks and blood pressure checks were also part of the half-day programme. Source of the archived account: Pardis district public relations.
