On 6 Ordibehesht 1404 Solar Hijri, a specialist forum on ageing was held at Niavaran Cultural Centre. Ageing specialists, social-sector representatives and health practitioners met to discuss challenges and approaches to improving quality of life for older people.
Topics included physical and mental health, care at home, social activity and enjoyment in later life, and the role of families in care.
Bagh Omid participated and presented its experience in older adult care, older-person-centred outings and consultation. The archived report described the meeting as an opportunity for wider cooperation between organisations supporting older adults.
